This work was selected as a finalist in the Lethbridge Landscape prize. My entry statement was “I’m drawn to the golden hour and its yearning shadows. Grasses ever-present in my work, embody freedom as they sway. ‘I Hear Music’ connects to my past – the gentle sound of my mother’s piano playing drifting throughout home, shaping my sense of movement, harmony and unseen rhythms of nature.”
